On November 6, 2019, the Erasmus + Parenst4All partners met for the fifth and last time in Athens, Greece. The meeting was attended by representatives of six partner organizations from Greece, Spain, Italy, Germany, Scotland, and Lithuania.
During the meeting, partners discussed the dissemination of the project results, which will ensure that the Training material and the Self-assessment toolkit created during the project reach as wide an audience as possible. Audiovisual materials, the video and the short animated film, were also discussed. The video will feature interviews with local and migrant parents from all six partner countries, including Lithuania.
The final conference of the project, “Migrant and Refugee Integration as a Two-Way Process: Opportunities and Challenges in Education”, was held on 7 November, with presenters from the Municipality of Athens, Hellenic Open University, UNICEF, Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, and project partner institutions. SIH was represented by director Daiva Malinauskienė and project coordinator Kristina Kudriašova. At the conference, Kristina talked about the Training material, its development, and how parents’ learning preferences and needs were taken into account in the process.
The director also had the opportunity to present other SIH-implemented projects, such as Senior Volunteers for Migrant Integration, VR@School, Be-Digital, and Play Your Way to Norway.
