On 15-19 October 2018 Piloting Training for Senior Volunteers was organised in Vilnius, Lithuania.

SVMI activities were presented at the Meeting of Council of the National Third Age Universities, which took place in Molėtai, LT on 11-12 September 2018.

Our Finnish partner Anmiro Oy successfully presented and promoted the SVMI training programme for members of Raisio Pensioners' Association on 30 Aug 2018, in Raisio Finland. 

On 27 August 2018 SVMI team in Lithuania came together to discuss the upcoming project activities. 

The 20th of June, the World Refugee Day was celebrated in Paris at République, the mayor symbolic place of liberty, equality and fraternity in the capital city.

SVMI’s German partner, ifa Akademie, has been working with experts on adult education and migrant inclusion for the development of SVMI training materials. 

According to the first result of the Eurobarometer poll conducted in the spring 2018, immigration remains the most important issues facing the EU for for 38% of European citizens (-1 percentage point since autumn 2017). 

On 27-28 June SIH director participated in General Assembly of European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) in Tallinn, Estonia.
